  • 72% of India’s populace live in villages
  • Most specialists don’t want to practice in rural areas
  • 80% of physicians, 75% of dispensaries and 60% of hospitals are
    in urban areas!
  • According to a PwC India consultant: “When it comes to
    healthcare, India gets divided in two. Urban India has
    healthcare centers of excellence, while much of rural India
    has no access to basic healthcare.”
